JMA CEO attended the “SPC Share the Love to the elderly”

Senior Police Call (SPC) held the “Yearly SPC Share the Love” on May 28 to express care and love to the elderly. 22 police districts responded actively and distributed blessing bags containing food, daily necessities and epidemic prevention materials to people in need. It is the 25th Anniversary of the return of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region to the Motherland. The design of promotional materials and blessing bags shows the characteristics of Hong Kong and the achievements of the past 25 years, as well as hopes and confidence for the future.

On May 30, Commander Zeng Fanguo, Chief Constable of Kowloon City Police District, Mr. Ricky Chan, Honorary President of Senior Police Call in Kowloon City District, Vice President Huang Yuliang, Vice President Chan Wanyi and President Yao Yihua attended the “Love Sharing" activity of the nine police districts. On the day, the Hong Kong Lutheran Social Service Office - Community Center was also invited to participate the activity.

The Seniors are very happy to receive the blessing bag, and praise the exquisite and practical gift bag.

The SPC Scheme, rolled out in 2014, aims to promote crime prevention, fight crime, domestic and road safety messages to the Seniors. It also provides a platform for the Seniors to participate in meaningful activities as well as to serve the community. As at May 30, more than 12,000 senior citizens have joined the SPC Scheme.
